Self-funding is the default option for most women entrepreneurs across the country. Often, there is a lack of information on what funding options are available that are targeted to women entrepreneurs or diverse demographics such as Black entrepreneurs or developmental lenders who provide loans with alternative criteria or greater support in the application process.
Team AFIA has committed to researching options for you - organizations and companies that provide more accessible financing, help access grant opportunities or crowdfunding, and venture capital firms oriented to start-ups and/or women-owned businesses.
